Better Basics is currently seeking a Part Time, Seasonal After School Teacher III/Program Coordinator to assist in planning and oversee implementation of all activities at the HOPE 21st Century Community Learning Center at Robinson Elementary School in Fairfield, Alabama. College degree and classroom experience are preferred. This is a seasonal position and is needed from 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday – Friday from August 2018 – May 2019, according to the Fairfield City Schools calendar.
Coordinator will be responsible for guiding all students during academic and enrichment activities and ensures successful participation in the HOPE Center program. Position supervises teachers and aides. Coordinator will lead select student service learning projects and/or STEM lessons. Ensures timely submission and collection of paperwork, including timesheets, student payments and other essential inputs for grants and funding sources.
Workweek: 17.5 hours, Monday – Friday, 2:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Work Status: Part-time, Seasonal
Pay Range: $12.00 - $15.00/HR
