The Foundry Ministries has an immediate opening for an Assistant IT Manager. The Assistant IT Manager provides secure and reliable technical support and training for all current and future technology infrastructures.

It is the duty of the Assistant IT Manager to hold to the mission, vision, and core values of The Foundry.


Information Services Support:

  • Provide oversight of general operations of the computers, printers, and software owned or leased by The Foundry
  • Ensure high level of technology support for all users, including, but not limited to:
  • Troubleshooting
  • Responding to all requests for assistance with local and network equipment
  • Setting up new workstations
  • Performing predefined maintenance on hardware/software
  • Training users on hardware, software, and/or IT processes
  • Manage ticket tracking and completion of all requests
  • Learn and provide service for all applications used by The Foundry
  • Handle questions from users with all levels of computer, applications knowledge
  • Provide expertise on desktop support issues
  • Train staff as required on use of PCs, phones (landlines and mobile), projectors, audio/visual equipment, and associated Microsoft and Apple applications
  • Install, upgrade, and configure desktop and laptop computers and accessories
  • Windows, iOS, VOIP, smart TVs installation configuration and troubleshooting

 Assistance to Information Service Manager:

  • Collaborate with Information Services Manager create and maintain policies and procedures manual for all critical IS functions
  • Order and manage inventory
  • Provide detailed reports as scheduled
  • Research tools/software and create quotes
  • Offer assistance on annual IS budget



  • Associate’s Degree; or two (2) to four (4) years experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A+, MCP, Network+


  • Minimum of two (2) years of increasingly responsible experience in basic technology services.


  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with minimum supervision
  • Must be able to:
  • read, analyze, and interpret business, technical, and professional periodicals, journals, and government regulations
  • write reports, business correspondence, procedure manuals, and job aids
  • effectively present information, train staff on new equipment and upgrades, and respond to questions in a timely manner
  • solve practical problems and manage a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • interpret instructions provided in written, verbal, diagrammatic or scheduling formats
  • utilize diagnostic to determine and resolve equipment issues
  • lift 25+ pounds
  • near visual acuity (ability to bring items into sharp focus)
  • strong arm, hand and finger dexterity; hand-eye coordination
  • work well under pressure
  • Basic understanding of the principles of report writing and record keeping
  • Strong service oriented attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to be a contributing team member
