Description

The Foundry Ministries, Inc. has an immediate opening for an Auto Center Manager.  The Auto Center Manager is responsible for maximizing the efficiency, revenue, and productivity of the service and sales centers. The primary role of the service center is the maintenance and upkeep of all non-leased Foundry fleet vehicles. In addition, the Auto Center Manager coordinates donated vehicle pickups and collaborates with staff to determine which donations will be offered for sale. The Auto Center Manager leads, develops, and retains team members and program participants assigned to the centers. It is the duty of the Auto Center Manager to hold to the mission, vision, and core values of The Foundry.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Enterprise Management:

  • Oversee daily operations of the service and sales centers by setting department goals
  • Handle large volumes of cash and turn in monies and reports to Business Administration Office as scheduled
  • Set maintenance and upkeep schedules for all non-leased Foundry fleet vehicles
  • Maintain equipment maintenance and upkeep and research new equipment and tools to ensure quality and productivity
  • Manage vehicle warranty compliance
  • Evaluate donated vehicles to determine whether vehicle should be recycled, wholesaled, or placed on lot
  • Prioritize workflow between Foundry fleet vehicles and donated vehicles
  • Negotiate and close all sales
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local wholesalers, vendors, and suppliers
  • Ensure sales and donation goals are met each month
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints in accordance with courtesy and standard operating procedures

Staff Management:

  • Directly manage staff schedules to maintain coverage during business hours
  • Facilitate drug screens of staff members as directed

Employment Readiness Supervision:

  • Supervise, train, and mentor program participants
  • Budget Management:
  • Develop and manage annual budget for auto sales and service

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS 

Education:

  • High School Diploma, High School Equivalency Certificate, or GED, or Technical School Training

Experience:

  • Three (3) years’ minimum experience with vehicle servicing, repairs, sales, and customer service
  • Supervisory experience of mechanics and support staff

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Clean driving record and must pass The Foundry’s insurance requirements
  • Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds multiple times a day and stand for long periods of time
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Servant leader
  • Experience in automobile sales software (preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook (preferred)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (preferred)
