A+ College Ready is a division of the A+ Education Partnership. A+ College Ready was founded in 2008 to dramatically increase participation and success in Advanced Placement math, science and English supported by a $13.2 million grant from the National Math and Science Initiative. A substantial part of the work of A+ College Ready is teacher training for both Advanced Placement courses and preparatory courses leading to AP work. A+ College Ready develops curricular materials that teachers can use with their students and strongly supports teachers as they implement the training and use the materials. This curriculum development and teacher support is the primary responsibility of our content directors.
Experience and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (minimal) in a field related to computer science
Minimum of five years of successful classroom experience
Current or former success in Advanced Placement Computer Science, preferably APCSA and APCSP
History of leadership in adult professional learning, mentoring and/or curriculum development
Strong people skills including willingness to be a contributing member of a collaborative team
Proficiency in the use of technology tools and applications including Google Drive, Microsoft Office, etc.
