The Development Manager is a key leadership team member within Growing Kings. S/he is responsible for managing the fundraising functions of the organization. This function includes the design, implementation, and evaluation of a comprehensive plan for developing key external alliances by cultivating individual and philanthropic support. The Development Manager will have primary responsibility for establishing and implementing the infrastructure needed to sustain a budget commensurate with growth trajectory through the solicitation of major gifts, federal and state grants, and corporate and foundation support. This position will expand and diversify Growing Kings’ donor base and pipeline, and work closely with other team members to secure funding for new initiatives. In addition, the Development Manager will work closely with the Board of Directors and support Board members as they take on a more active fundraising role.
