Founded in 1991, A+ Education Partnership is a statewide nonprofit that works to ensure that every child in Alabama has the opportunity for success in postsecondary education, the workforce, and citizenship. A+ provides forward-thinking, research-based information, and the tools and training policy-makers and educators need to improve educational opportunities for all Alabama students. We do this by promoting and supporting what works: high-quality pre-K, professional talent development at all school levels, consistently high academic standards, and 21st-century innovation.
The Director of Development is responsible for planning, organizing and directing all A+ fundraising. The Director reports to the A+ President, is a member of the leadership team and works closely with the Board of Directors to develop and execute development activities across a broad range of sources. The Director spends time with staff and experiences A+ programming in order to fully understand and promote the mission.
