The Alabama Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy is seeking to fill its Executive Director position in Montgomery, Alabama.

The mission of the Campaign is to lead Alabama in embracing evidence informed sexual health education as critical to healthy youth development. This full-time Executive Director position is responsible for working with the board and staff to ensure the mission of the Campaign is fulfilled through programs, strategic planning, and community outreach; developing and managing resources to ensure the financial health of the organization to include donor development and fundraising, grant writing, contract negotiation, and business operations; overseeing and implementing training, technical assistance, advocacy, communication and research activities of the Campaign; and providing day-to-day leadership, management, and oversight of the Campaign’s operations.

The Executive Director is expected to be a visible, passionate champion for adolescent sexual health and to establish productive, collaborative, working relationships with relevant stakeholders throughout the state.  The Executive Director should be a high integrity, motivated, driven, emotionally intelligent leader with exceptional written and oral communication skills.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree required.

* Master’s degree in a relevant field and/or 5+ years of experience with progressively increasing leadership/management responsibilities preferred.

* Related experience in the non-profit environment preferred.
