The Life Skills Education program supports academic achievement and an improved school culture by addressing goal-setting, conflict resolution, career-preparedness, effective communication, teamwork, giving and earning respect, and more.
In January we will begin our Life Skills Education Program at McAdory Middle School and Fairfield Elementary Schools. The volunteer will be facilitating middle or elementary schools classroom discussions using our own evidence-based Life Skills program.
Volunteer requirements include:
- Completing a background check
- Attending our two-day volunteer training in January 2018.
- 2 hours of in-school program facilitation per week for nine weeks (19.5 hrs total)
