The Learning Tree, Inc. has been providing behavior analysis services to individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism in the state of Alabama for more than 30 years. Since beginning as a single group home, The Learning Tree has grown into an agency serving over 400 children and adults in Alabama. Our programs include early intervention preschools, residential programs, education services, and school consultation. The Learning Tree currently has opportunities for Behavior Analyst at our Tallassee and Jacksonville Residential Campuses.


Instructional Support Specialist (BCBA)

Our Instructional Support Specialist provide behavior analytic services for our residential school programs. These individuals are supported by experienced behavior analysts. These individuals work closely with a team including members of the residential and education departments to ensure behavior plans are implemented with integrity.  Residential Program Behavior Analyst responsibilities include:

  • Conducting behavioral assessments
  • Developing acquisition and reduction programs
  • Implementing acquisition and reduction programs
  • Training direct care staff members on behavioral programs
  • Monitoring the implementation of behavioral programming
  • Responding to crisis situations
  • Maintaining all documentation


Qualifications: Minimum of Master's degree in Psychology or Education, certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst preferred; minimum of one year's experience preferred
