Job Summary: Cleans kitchen equipment and washes dishes; sweeps, mops, and waxes floors.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of cleaning practices, methods, and techniques. Ability to assist in the preparation and presentation of meals. Ability to wash dishes and kitchen appliances. Ability to clean kitchen and dining area.
Education and Experience: One year experience working in a kitchen preferred or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language. Duties are usually performed by frequent walking and/or standing, kneeling, or squatting relieved by lesser periods of sitting. Works is performed in a normal kitchen environment where there may be limited physical discomforts associated with working around hot stoves/ovens or cold freezers.
