Hours: M-F 8am-4pm (with rotating on call)
Glenwood provides treatment and education services in a least restrictive setting, through a continuum of care, with the highest respect for individuals and families served. Glenwood leads the state in providing behavioral health care and educational services that are responsive and complimentary to a continuum of care for persons with unique mental health disorders. Glenwood supports mental health and educational professionals and promotes research in these specialized areas.
Job Duties Includes, but not limited to:
*Complies with Code of Ethics and demonstrates respect and regard for dignity of all clients, families, visitors, and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible, and courteous environment.
*Maintains medical records and other related paperwork.
*Provides direct medical services for individuals served.
*Participates in the admission and/or discharge process.
*Serves as medical source for agency staff, and other involved parties
*Fulfills professional development requirements and other assignments as required.
Job Requirements:*Minimum 21 years of age
*Must be cleared through the Dept. of Human Resources
Child Abuse & Neglect Registry as well as the ABI/FBI and
pass all required pre-employment and background screening
*Must be certified or certifiable in CPR, 1st Aid, MCS and MAC
Min. Education: Current Alabama License as an LPN
Min. Work Experience: Two years’ experience in psychiatric setting preferred
Required Licenses/Certifications: Current Alabama License as an LPN Valid Alabama Driver’s License and must be insurable through Glenwood’s insurance agent. Minimum 21 years of age.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Ability to obtain/maintain Medication Assistant Supervisor (MAS) certification as defined by Department of Mental Health (DMH).
