Responsible for developing, implementing and improving One Roof's training program for the Program Management Information System of the Southeast (PromisSE).

-Responsible for maintaining and improving the PromisSE training materials and process as needed to comply with the software vendor, Federal Partners, or other applicable federal, state, or local law.

-Conduct frequent trainings (several times a month) ranging from 1 – 5 hours in length with 1 - 40 users per training.

-Assume creative responsibility for developing and administering additional trainings for PromisSE users.

-Assist PromisSE users with software inquiries and troubleshooting via email and phone communication.

-Provide onsite support to new and established users to improve data quality and Continuum outcomes.

-Analyze data correction reports and train users to improve data quality.

-Maintain technical competency on any software related to PromisSE.

-Assist with data cleanup within partner agencies.

-Assist with site reviews of federally funded partner agencies.

-Assist with any other duties as requested including participation in all major agency functions.

-Some travel required for appropriate conferences and trainings.

-Collect and enter client-level information into PromisSE.

-Maintain thorough knowledge of applicable federal, state and local regulations.

-Maintain Operating Procedures relating to training.

Reports directly to the PromisSE Coordinators.

Collaborates with other PromisSE Program Assistants.


- High School diploma required; Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred.

-At least 2 years of experience working with persons in a professional environment or customer service.

-Knowledge of the agencies and programs within the One Roof Continuum (AL-500) preferred.

-Computer and Internet literate -- Microsoft Office suite and Google Suite preferred. Experience with ServicePoint, our local Homeless Management Information System, preferred.

-Ability to work efficiently while paying close attention to detail.

-Ability to work independently and in a team setting while maintaining willingness to accept supervision.

-Must possess and maintain a valid Alabama Driver’s License and qualify for coverage under the agency's Automobile Insurance.

Description of successful candidate:  This person will be detail oriented, will have excellent computer skills (but is NOT a programmer, technician, etc) and will be comfortable learning new software and frequently changing information on Federal programs. This person will be comfortable leading public speaking/training meetings varying in size and trainee knowledge level. Prior knowledge of PromisSE is strongly preferred but not required. High level of professionalism, punctuality, and verbal/written communication skills mandatory.
