The Teen/Eureka! Program Manager’s role is to manage all aspects of the Teen/Eureka! program with a concern for programs, service delivery, supervision and training of staff, community relations and membership development. Position promotes strong, smart and bold activities for the safety of members, and quality of Girls Inc. of Central AL programs. Provides positive guidance, discipline and role modeling to members and staff at all times that reflect the current needs and interests of girls ages 12 – 18. Additional responsibilities are to serve as instructor, trainer, recruiter, as well as volunteer and parent support contact for the agency as needed.
Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Psychology, Science, Math, Youth Development, Sociology or related field and two to three years of experience working with youth related organizations. Bi-lingual skills a plus.
Must possess current valid Alabama Driver’s License. Also must provide evidence of personal automobile liability insurance, and must be eligible for coverage by organizational automobile liability insurance (as determined through review of MVR records) and clearance of an investigative background check.
